I am a 21 year old (as of August 28th of 2007) college student who has recently moved up to Western Washington University. Over the course of my life I have hurt, healed, and haunted quit a few people. I’d like to think people don’t forget about me, but you never know with the general apathetic nature of Americans. Regardless I am currently shooting for a Psychology major.
One of my greater goals is to write a series of books based on a fantasy world I’ve dubbed “The Isles of Scion” and you will see probably 30 iterations of it pop up on this website. I have trouble keeping with a project but I still like to keep my works. I’ve also written upwards of 300 poems since my 10th grade year, while most are your generic ‘emo’ styling there are quite a few that I am very proud of.
Once I’ve become a published writer and an esteemed psychologist I am running for president, assuming that the US hasn’t fallen apart by then. It’s a sad fact that so many people with good intentions for others are not willing to step in and fight the seedy villains that plant their roots within the soil of politics. It is not something we should fear or loathe, it is something we should embrace and change. If the country chooses it could abolish all the things it blames the government for doing, yet it merely casts blame and does not truly help.
So really that is all there is to me. I love the written word, nearly everything the earth has to offer, and the fact that I have at least put a dent in many people’s lives. Whether that dent has caused them to never trust again, or caused them to never frown again, I am equally pleased. Because if you can make a lasting mark on someone else, you have in at least one sense, officially lived.
